Ouseburn Farm


Ouseburn Farm is located in an amazing place underneath 3 towering bridges, Ouseburn Farm is in the heart of Newcastle upon Tyne. The Farm's opening Times are: 9.30am to 3.30pm, 7 days a week. It also has a Tea Room with scrumptious home-made cakes scones & biscuits, Fairtrade tea and coffee. Ouseburn Farm also has there own Little Farm Shop which sells fresh produce and plants grown on their farm, along with their home-made jams and chutneys, stationery and mugs. Ouseburn Farm provides an unimaginable educational experience for children of all ages in an environment where they can learn all about farm animals, the natural environment and Newcastle's rich heritage.

You can get up close to many different animals, including: Goats, a Cat, Pigs, Rabbits, Cow, Ducks, Sheep, Tortoises, Guinea-pigs, Turkeys, Chickens and Chinchillas. The barn, the fields and meadows allow the Farm to produce the excellent home for the animals.

You can sightsee the fields, woods and ponds, wander around the garden. Explore the award-winning, sustainably built vistor centre, Ouseburn Farm's entrance is free, but welcomes Donations. Ouseburn Farm is also family friendly and is simply accessible for both pushchairs and wheelchairs. Ouseburn Farm also has rooms that you could hire, for either 1 hour, 1/2 a day or a full day.

Ouseburn Farm also gets visits from Schools. Children will get a curriculum-linked learning experience, an extraordinary opportunity to introduce themselves to the sights, sounds and smells of what the countryside is like in an nonrural environment.Ouseburn Farm have staff to make the children's visit fun, safe and memorable.
